The Master of Fine Arts Program in Picture and Media Arts is the country's foremost program in alternative motion-picture show, video and new media. The Department of Film and Media Arts too offers a one-year interdisciplinary Master of Arts program. The MA in MediaXarts: Movie theatre for New Technologies and Environments prepares students for professions in the creative design industries, interaction pattern for public organizations, and emergent cinematic art forms, including interactive movie theater, projection design, media installation, user experience blueprint and design for mobile and social media.

The Section of Moving-picture show and Media Arts also offers a PhD through the MFA-PhD Dual Caste Programme in Documentary Arts And Visual Inquiry . This innovative, accelerated program offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced work that bridges exercise and theory. Applicants Educated in China Required only when admitted into the programme: Documents certified by the Communist china Academic Degrees and Graduate Instruction Development Center (CDGDC) or the China Higher Education Educatee Information and Career Center (CHESICC) are required for a full credential evaluation. Transfer Credits

The MFA program in Motion picture and Media Arts accepts graduate credits completed in coursework related to the program. The FMA committee determines credence of transfer credits. The maximum number of credits a student may transfer is upwards to eleven.
